This is my all-time favourite horror/thriller! As a professor, Norman (Harrison Ford) is rarely at home leaving his wife, Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer), to deal with the eerie happenings at their lakeside home, which begin when their daughter leaves for university. Claire begins to see the ghost of a girl in her bathroom, and out of fear and curiousity she investigates the girl's identity. What Claire finds has serious repercussions for both herself and her husband. I would strongly recommend this film for those who are not easily scared and who are fed up of the poor story lines that go along with many horror films. The film is tense, the acting is good (unlike many horror films) and it makes for a scary watch accompanied by a few revealing twists and turns. Watch it!

I remember this being good and having a twist. I just don't remember anything else, except it scared me. I probably need to watch it again. 4 stars.
